Kelly is Blue Shield of California's 2019 Corporate Citizen of the year. She has a passion for doing the right things and setting an example that her colleagues and children can follow. Over the course of many years, Kelly has made an impact on the Chamber of Commerce, at a dog rescue, and most importantly as a "big" in the Big Brother Big Sister program of El Dorado Hills. Slow Clap traveled to the Sacramento area to tell the story of Kelly and her "little," Mia, to show the rest of BSC how integral community engagement is to the company. We conducted pre-interviews, arranged logistics, identified key moments to film, shot with Kelly over the course of three days. We put it all together in a hurry to screen at Kelly's award ceremony.
