Thi Bui is an American graphic novelist who uses her talents to help raise awareness around the injustices and deportations facing the south-east asian community in San Francisco. She is most known for her illustrated memoir, The Best We Could Do.

Thi Bui is being awarded the Bill Sorro Community Activist award for her amazing work and effort.
