Tamisha Tores-Walker was born and raised in Richmond CA. At a young age, she was convicted of arson of an inhabited structure. After her release, she worked to turn her life around and is now the Safe Return Project. With the goal to end the disenfranchisement of the formerly incarcerated, she will never stop. She was honored by the San Francisco Foundation with its Community Leadership Award.
