Blue Shield of California is the largest healthcare provider in California. They wanted to create a Customer Success Story about long-time members, Earl Moon and his wife, Jan. In March of 2015, Earl fell from a ladder at his home. Though it was a minor fall, Earl injured his neck and became a quadriplegic from the accident. They experienced many setbacks and struggles afterwards including securing the equipment and care appropriate for Earl’s injuries.

With the help of Blue Shield of California, the Moons were able to finally get the right equipment, get him the right treatments so that Earl and Jan could live a comfortable life. Slow Clap traveled to Cambria, California and spent four days documenting Earl’s recovery, capturing the authentic moments that ended up in this powerful testimonial video.
