Daniel is a digital product manager at Blue Shield of California. Before his work at BSC, he learned first-hand about the struggles of dealing with a serious injury while also navigating the complicated healthcare world. So he decided to dedicate his career to removing that friction on the healthcare provider's side.

Blue Shield of California's communications team works with Slow Clap for much of their video needs. In this employee story video, and many others, BSC leaned on Slow Clap to identify great employees to feature in their videos, both to help with external recruiting, and to help reinforce internally the company culture. Our team conducted pre-interviews with the video subject, found the most interesting parts of his story, and went out and captured them in an authentic way.
