Cassandra Jabola

Senior Producer Cassandra Jabola, a graduate of New York University with a background in cinema and broadcast journalism, is Slow Clap's senior video producer. Growing up, she was an only child for the first decade of her life. With parents often working, the TV became her babysitter and best friend as early as she could talk. Flash forward to the present, and she has collaborated with HBO, PBS, National Geographic, NBC, The Weather Channel, TLC, The Science Channel, The Travel Channel, A&E, and Investigation Discovery. She has produced feature documentary films that have screened at Tribeca Film Festival, AFI DOCS, DOC NYC, IDFA, and CPH: DOX, among others. Clients that she’s produced commercial work for include GitHub (Microsoft), Sony PlayStation, Capital One, Blue Shield of CA, and LVMH (Moët Hennessy – Louis Vuitton). She is most excited by projects where her passion for documentary storytelling intersects with brands’ commitment to cause-based work, like they did with GitHub’s "Building the Future" series. She strives to tell stories that inspire and bring together people and communities. Her strength as a producer lies in connecting with her subjects and collaborators. Cassandra takes projects from research to scripting, and from production to post - locally and internationally...on land, in the air and under water! . When Cassandra isn’t on-set or in the edit bay, she’s loves to travel the world, especially when she can explore new locales through the lens of cuisine. She is most at home on a tropical beach (as she was born in the Philippine Islands), or indulging in a new restaurant.
